Arsenal should find out today the extent of Theo Walcott's shoulder injury with reports suggesting he could be out for three months.
The winger was flattened in a challenge by Scott Parker in England's training camp and has dislocated his right shoulder which may eventually need surgery to put right and could keep him out for three months.
Walcott has had similar problems with his other shoulder and had an operation on that problem 15 months ago and now it looks likely that the same problem has struck again.
Walcott was taken to hospital where the shoulder was put back into place and now he will be assessed by Arsenal's medical team on his return.
"Our priority is Theo and making him as comfortable as possible before he returns to England," England boss Fabio Capello said.
"We are all very disappointed but the important thing is for Theo to travel home and make a quick recovery."
