Arsene Wenger is optimistic about Emmanuel Adebayor's chances of returning against Aston Villa, but Manuel Almunia is fit again.
The Gunners boss is prepared to wait and take a late decision on the Togo striker who has missed the last two games after picking up an ankle injury in the 2-1 defeat to Stoke a fortnight ago.
Wenger previously described Adebayor as '50-50', but he is now more optimistic regarding his star striker.
"Adebayor is back in the squad. I will decide (if he plays) tomorrow," he said.
But Almunia should replace Lukasz Fabianski after Wenger confirmed that the Gunners number one is fully fit again following a head injury he picked up in the second half of last week's victory over Manchester United.
"Almunia is doing well and has recovered completely," added Wenger.
The manager also revealed his belief that Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo could be back in action by the turn of the year.
"The surgery went very well," said Wenger. "He [Rosicky] should be back with us in six to eight weeks, but that doesn't mean he will be back playing.
"He will start training. I think a reasonable delay is to consider the beginning of next year."
"Eduardo is close to full training and should be playing in two to three weeks."
