Arsenal are thought to be weighing up a move for Russian forward Alan Dzagoev after his impressive displays at Euro 2012.

The 21-year-old has proven to be one of the stars of the tournament so far with three goals in the first two matches for Russia, setting them up nicely for qualification to the quarter-finals. The right sided attacker is currently at CSKA Moscow but has yet to agree a new deal with the club, with his current contract set to expire in December. With Arsene Wenger set to sell another Russian in Andriy Arshavin this summer he could be tempted into making a move for Dzagoev, especially if he could get him on a free transfer. Arsenal have already signed Lukas Poldolski and are poised to complete a deal for Olivier Giroud, adding to an already large array of forwards. However, Wenger is planning a clear out of his attacking options with Arshavin, Park Ji-Sung, Nicklas Bendtner and Marouane Chamakh all up for sale reportedly.
