Arsene Wenger says Barcelona have not made a bid for Alex Song and the player is not for sale in any case.
Barca have been heavily linked with a swoop for the midfielder with reports claiming that Wenger was ready to cash in on the player for a fee in the region of £12million.
However, Song yesterday said he was happy at the Emirates Stadium and now Wenger says there is no truth in the rumours, insisting the player is not for sale.
"There's nothing going on with Song. There's nothing in that," Wenger revealed. "Song has three years contract he's not in the same situation as Robin Van Persie.
"In Spain the newspapers are not really serious. We've had the experience of that. We've never had any contact with anybody from Barcelona."
When quizzed over whether he would be interested in a move to the Nou Camp, Song added: "I am not going to lie if I said there is no interest but I am at Arsenal and I am happy at Arsenal.
"Barcelona are the best team in the world, and speculation will always continue until the window closes."
