Barry targets Villa stay

Gareth Barry has revealed he will stay at Aston Villa next summer if the club can qualify for the Champions League this season.
Barry came close to joining Liverpool in the summer before the deal collapsed but the Reds have maintained their interest and could launch a renewed bid at the end of the season.
The midfielder would no doubt be interested in a move if the Reds came knocking again but has now said he will stay at Villa Park if they can break into the top four.
"That would be a massive achievement for this club," Barry revealed. "If I am playing Champions League football, there is no need to look elsewhere.
"That would have to be a definite. I don't want to be eating my own words."
Arsenal are also thought to be keen but Barry says he will be going nowhere if Champions League football is on the agenda next season.
