Gareth Barry has said he will wait to see if Aston Villa reach the Champions League before deciding whether to stay at the club.
The England international midfielder was the subject of four failed bids by Liverpool to lure him aware from Villa Park in the summer and seems set to leave the club if they fail to achieve Champions League football.

Villa reaching the Champions League could be well rewarded, with Martin O'Neill's side currently just one point off fourth-place Arsenal.
Villa finished 16 points behind Liverpool last season, who took the final Champions League spot, and it was thought Barry would move to Anfield in search of silverware after another trophyless season.
However, the 27-year-old midfielder has said he will now remain at the club until at least the end of the season to help Villa achieve it's goal of Champions League football, beginning with
a trip to Everton on Sunday.
"Champions League football is massive and we're not far away from achieving it," Barry told BBC 5Live.
"(But) the manager (Martin O'Neill) and I won't talk about anything until we've seen what we've achieved this season."
