Ashley Young is backing Gabriel Agbonlahor to impress for England should he be handed his debut against Germany.
The Aston Villa striker has been called into the England squad for Wednesday night's friendly against Germany in Berlin and Young believes he is ready for the international stage.
Agbonlahor continues to shine for Villa and Young says he can repeat that form for England, if he is handed a chance.
"I think Gabby will adapt really well to the England set-up," Young revealed. "He was in the squad in the summer and didn't look out of place at all during training.
"He has been doing really well and, now he has been called up, I believe he will do really well.
"I get asked if he can make the same impact as Theo Walcott who has done really well. They are different players but Gabby can make an impact. He is a massive player for Aston Villa.
"He has been vital since the time I came here nearly two years ago. He has got goals and other aspects of his game are good as well. He has done really well for the club.
"He can definitely do a job for England."
