Aston Villa have been linked with a £5million move for Spurs full-back Kyle Naughton but will have to sell Alan Hutton first.
Villa boss Paul Lambert is keen to be reunited with right-back Naughton having worked with the defender at former club Norwich last season. Naughton spent last season on loan at Carrow Road and established himself as a first-team regular under Lambert, making 32 Premier League appearances for the Canaries. Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is prepared to listen to offers for Naughton and Villa hope £5million will be enough to convince the London outfit to sell. However, it is understood that Lambert first has to offload Hutton before he can launch a move for 23-year-old Naughton. Hutton, who cost Villa £4million when they signed him from Spurs last summer, has been linked with Stoke but it remains to be seen whether or not the Potters will firm up their interest with a formal offer for the Scottish defender.
