N'Zogbia eyes more safety goals
Charles N'Zogbia has vowed to score more goals to help Aston Villa's Premier League survival bid in the rest of the season.
The France international midfielder ended a barren run in front of goal for Paul Lambert's side when he scored a stunning free-kick during last Sunday's 2-1 win against West Ham at Villa Park. The goal ensured Villa secured a vital three points to lift them out of the relegation places and N'Zogbia is now keen to add some more to his tally in the remaining games of the campaign. Villa have a tough clash against Arsenal up next on Saturday week, but N'Zogbia is confident that the side can build on the Hammers' result and get something from the Emirates Stadium outing. N'Zogbia said in the Express & Star: "I have been working hard lately so I was happy with the goal, hopefully it will not be the last one. "I was happy to score. I have been hitting the post. Finally I had that luck and I'm going to keep working hard in training to perform well in the next game. "We are looking forward to Arsenal now, and we have to be ready to face them. Now we have to forget about West Ham and focus on the next match. We need to win as many games as possible." He added: "Hopefully, we are going to carry that winning mentality to the next game. We have to try our best to as many points as we can."
