Shorey joins Forest

Nottingham Forest have signed Aston Villa defender Nicky Shorey on loan until the end of December.
Forest have long been linked with a move for the defender, who has fallen out of favour at Villa Park since signing from Reading back in the summer of 2008, and boss Billy Davies has finally landed his man.
The defender will stay at the City Ground until the new year but there is every chance Davies could look to make the move permanent if the player impresses between now and then.
Shorey will link up with his new team-mates on Thursday ahead of the weekend action against Doncaster when he could make his debut. Villa have insisted on a 24-hour recall clause should they suffer an injury crisis.
