Striker's future is unclear
Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has attracted the attention of a number of Premier League sides, with Spurs leading the way.
Arsenal and Chelsea have also expressed interest in the Belgium international who has scored 15 goals in his debut season since joining from Genk in the summer for £7million.
The 22-year-old has been the one star in the ranks of Paul Lambert's squad who are still fighting to hold on to their top-tier status, currently in 17th place just one point outside of the drop zone with 12 games to go.
Andre Villas-Boas will be looking to bolster his side during the summer after an indifferent season so far for Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe suffering from injury problems.
"It is normal that if you go to a club and do well, then other clubs will show an interest," said Benteke's agent, Erik Kismet, recently.
"Christian has shown that he can play in England so why not take the step up to the next level if the opportunity is there?
"At the end of the season, interested clubs will talk to Villa, but it has to be right for Villa, the buying club and Christian.
"If all three parties are agreeable, something could happen, but right now his focus is on Villa, helping them stay in the Premier League."
