Villa new boys deserve a chance - Boss

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is ready to introduce his crop of unproven signings, claiming they deserve a chance to shine.

Lambert has included midfielder Ashley Westwood, striker Jordan Bowery and defender Joe Bennett in the squad for the home Premier League clash with Swansea.
The trio were signed during the final 48 hours of the recent transfer window and only Bennett has any top flight experience - just 45 minutes with Middlesbrough three years ago.
But Lambert adapted a similar policy with considerable success at previous club Norwich and has faith in the youngsters to make the step up at Villa.
He said: "The Premier League is unforgiving. The opportunity is there for them, now they have to go and do it. You have to have someone who has the belief in you to give you that opportunity.
"I was in the same boat myself as a player. I needed someone to give me an opportunity, and you will never know until you do that. I'm all for giving people opportunities to do the business."
