Christian Benteke, Jordan Bowery, Ashley Westwood and Joe Bennett are hoping to make their Aston Villa debuts against Swansea.
Villa manager Paul Lambert has drafted in £7million striker Benteke from Genk, and was impressed with his midweek performance for Belgium in a World Cup qualifier against Croatia. Therefore, it is likely that the forward will be in contention to face the Swans at Villa Park on Saturday. Fellow forward Bowery, who joined from Chesterfield, and former Crewe midfielder Westwood are hoping to start. England Under-21 international left-back, Bennett, who was drafted in from Middlesbrough, has yet to play a competitive game this season because of an ankle problem, but he could feature from the substitutes' bench. Lambert has confirmed that all of his international players have returned unscathed so Brett Holman, Ron Vlaar, Karim El Ahmadi and Brad Guzan could all be in contention. However, defender Richard Dunne and winger Marc Albrighton are still ruled out because of respective groin and foot problems, although the latter will return to training next week.
