Villa open against Hammers

Aston Villa will travel to new boys West Ham on the opening day of the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season on August 18.

A first home game of the campaign follows against Everton a week later before Paul Lambert's men travel to Newcastle on September 1. Villa's only derby clashes of the season come against West Brom on September 29 (home) and January 19 (away). Tottenham are the visitors on Boxing Day while a trip to Swansea awaits on New Year's Day. The midlands club finish their campaign at Wigan on May 19.
