Johnson lands Bees deal

Barnet have handed a first professional contract to teenage defender Elliot Johnson.

The rookie left-back has become Barnet's first summer signing having graduated from the centre of excellence at Underhill. "I'm glad to officially be part of the team, I'm really looking to push on and make some appearances for the first team," he told the club's official website. "My main aim would be to break into the first team. I also want to learn as much as possible about being a pro footballer. "Barnet is a great club with great fans and a great squad. I'm really looking forward to working hard and showing everyone what I can do."
