Barnsley's new signing Kelvin Etuhu has promised to get fans "off their seats" next season.
The 24-year-old former Manchester City winger arrived on a free transfer from Portsmouth and signed a one-year deal at Oakwell on Friday when he teamed back up with Barnsley boss Keith Hill. Etuhu, who spent a month on loan at Rochdale as a teenager when Hill was in charge at Spotland, told the club's official website: "I'm just happy to be part of a new project and be back working with a manager that I've got a lot of faith in. "I'm looking forward to a lot of success here. They're going to get a player who will get them off their seats, definitely. "They'll get a lot of commitment from me as well. You will see the best of Kelvin Etuhu this year - that's a fact!" Etuhu, younger brother of Fulham midfielder Dickson, started out at Manchester City and had further loan spells at Leicester and Cardiff before securing a free transfer to Portsmouth in January this year.
