Hume returns home

Barnsley have announced that Iain Hume has been released from hospital and will continue his recovery from a fractured skull at home.

Hume who also suffered internal bleeding in the clash with Sheffield United's Chris Morgan has been in Salford's Royal Hope hospital since Sunday November 9th and will now carry on his rehabilitation at home.

There is no indication yet as to when Hume may be ready for a first team return, meanwhile Barnsley continue to seek legal advice over the incident.
