Barnsley boss Keith Hill will be without three key first-team players for the start of the new npower Championship season.

Hill is faced with an injury headache following the news that summer recruits Mido and Toni Silva, together with last season's player of the year Luke Steele, are ruled out injured.
Egyptian striker Mido ruptured his hamstring during the warm-up of Saturday's friendly at Doncaster and could be out for up to three months, while Portuguese winger Silva sustained a hamstring pull in the first half and is set for a four-week absence.
Hill told the Sheffield Star: "It's a massive blow, but there's nothing we could have done to prevent the injuries. Mido did his hamstring shooting in the warm-up and the scan's revealed it's a bad injury, it's very serious.
"It's a shame both players are injured, but we've just got to get on with it.
"We've got an obvious problem now. We need to get a striker in the building as soon as possible. We're going to have to dip into the transfer market."
