Barnsley midfielder David Perkins has signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until 2014.
The 30-year-old has made 38 appearances for the Tykes since arriving at the start of the 2011/12 season. He has since shown himself to be an integral part of Keith Hill's side since making the switch from Colchester. Perkins becomes the third player in recent days to extend his time at Oakwell along with John Stones and Paul Digby.
