Steele lands Tykes award

Luke Steele has been voted by Barnsley fans as the club's Player of the Year.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper was runner-up to Jason Shackell last season but earned top billing this time around with a series of impressive displays. He set the standard in August with two penalty saves against Reading, who were recently crowned champions of the npower Championship.
