Tykes boss to keep the faith

Barnsley, 16:03, October 31, 2008

Simon Davey is set to name an unchanged Barnsley side for the fourth successive match at Charlton as Martin Devaney is fit to play.

The Tykes boss has been delighted with his side's recent form after they picked up 10 points from their last five league games to pull away from the Championship drop zone. And, despite Devaney suffering a slight knock in the 1-0 win at Doncaster on Tuesday, he has recovered sufficiently to play at the Valley on Saturday.

Fit-again Bobby Hassell and fellow defender Marciano Van Homoet are both vying for a call up to the Barnsley side, but will have to settle for a place on he substitutes' bench at the very best. Davey will also stick with Iain Hume and Jon Macken in attack so Miguel Mostto, Kayode Odejayi and the on-loan Maceo Rigters will have to wait for their chance to shine.
