Marlon Harewood has signed for Barnsley on a free transfer.

The striker, 32, has signed a one-year contract and returns to Oakwell for a second spell following a loan move in 2011, where he scored four goals in 10 games.
Harewood, who lists West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa among his former clubs, recently scored a hat-trick in Sheffield Wednesday's pre-season game at Kilmarnock, but after the Owls dropped their initial interest, Tykes manager Keith Hill has made a move to replace the injured Mido.
