Barnsley have completed the signing of goalkeeper David Gonzalez Giraldo on a non-contract basis.

The 30-year-old Colombian, a free agent following his release from Brighton at the end of last season, has been drafted in as cover for the suspended Ben Alnwick and Luke Steele, who has not fully recovered from a long-term stomach injury.
Gonzalez Giraldo is expected to start for the Tykes in their opening npower Championship clash with Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Alnwick will start a three-match ban after being sent off for head-butting Rochdale's Ray Putterill in the Capital One Cup last week.
Gonzalez Giraldo, who arrived in England with Manchester City from Argentinian club Huracan in 2009, has had loan spells at Leeds and Aberdeen and made four appearances for Brighton last season.
