Benitez deal could be huge

Birmingham could break their transfer record if they secure a £9million deal to sign Ecuador international Christian Benitez.
Widespread reports suggest Blues have made an offer of £6.2million for the highly-rated striker with another £3million in add-ons.
Boss Alez McLeish has made the 23-year-old, who plays for Santos Laguna in Mexico, his number one summer transfer target and believes the frontman can fire the goals for his side next season upon their return to the top flight.
City are leading the chase for Benitez but a handful of other Premier League clubs are also said to be interested and could yet outbid McLeish for the player this summer.
Santos Laguna want Benitez's future sorted out as soon as possible and an announcement is expected from them by Wednesday.
