Blues beaten again in pre-season

Marcus Bent, Kevin Phillips, Garry O'Connor and Barry Ferguson all started Birmingham's 2-0 pre-season defeat to Augsburg.
The Germans broke the deadlock through Tobias Werner midway through the first half before Elton Da Costa doubled their advantage in the second half in Austria.
Boss Alex McLeish partnered new boys Scott Dann and Roger Johnson in central defence, while James McFadden and Cameron Jerome came off the bench for Blues.
Birmingham were beaten 2-0 by German outfit Stuttgart in a pre-season friendly earlier in the week.
