Birmingham boss Lee Clark slammed his side's decision making after they were dumped out of the Capital One Cup 3-2 by managerless Coventry after extra-time.
Blues led through a Peter Lovenkrands header. But two goals in three minutes from Cody McDonald and Kevin Kilbane gave the hosts the lead. Jonathan Spector levelled to take the match into extra-time before Carl Baker struck the decisive winner and sent Coventry into the third round. Clark said: "It doesn't matter whether we deserved it or not we lost it and we will continue to lose if we give goals away like that. We won't win many games if we need to score four every time. It is outrageous. "It is down to poor decisions by experienced players. Believe it or not, it might not look like it but we do a lot of work on the defensive side in training. "We have got to respond better to setbacks, we are too helter-skelter at the moment. This is the biggest challenge of my managerial career but I'm not going to shirk the challenge."
