McLeish makes transfer prediction

Alex McLeish has warned Birmingham fans not to expect a rush of expensive new signings in the January transfer window.
McLeish is understood to be on the look-out for a midfielder and centre-half but has stressed he will not be spending crazy money during difficult times for a lot of football clubs.
He warned: "There is no money to splash out on bringing in players of my dreams. But we are aware of the loan system and we want to try and utilise that.
"I'm not going to name names just now, but there are one or two players earmarked."
He added: "We will try to do something prudently. There is a recession going on, and we will try to do something within the parameters. I can't spend more than I've got."
