McLeish relaxed over deal
Blues boss Alex McLeish is relaxed about his contract situation at the club and does not see any hold ups once talks begin.
McLeish has 12 months left on his present deal at St Andrew's but his advisors have now made contact with the club's vice chairman Peter Pannu, with talks likely in the near future and McLeish doesn't see any problems.
He told the Birmingham Post: "What is the situation with my contract? Peter Pannu has been a little bit busy and my guys (advisors) were a little bit busy before. But they have made contact now and I'm hoping that something can get done fairly quickly."
"I don't envisage any hold ups. It doesn't matter, I am still contracted for another season anyway. Hopefully we will get things tied up."
