Birmingham will be without first-choice goalkeeper Boaz Myhill for their trip to Ipswich while manager Chris Hughton also faces a midfield crisis.

Myhill sustained a thumb injury in the warm-up to Saturday's 2-2 draw against Bristol City and, although the extent of the problem is not yet known, he will definitely miss out at Portman Road. Colin Doyle will again take his place in goal while emerging England Under-21 stopper Jack Butland has been recalled from his loan spell at Cheltenham to provide cover on the bench. But Blues' problems do not finish there. Guirane N'Daw misses out again with his hamstring strain, with the Senegal international being assessed on an ongoing basis, while Keith Fahey will play no part due to the recurrence of his groin troubles which forced him off at the weekend. Fellow midfielder Jordon Mutch is also a doubt due to an ankle injury sustained when setting up Marlon King for his goal against the Robins. Elsewhere, defenders Jonathan Spector (thigh) and Stephen Carr (knee) continue to remain absent.
