Redmond lands Under-19 call-up

Birmingham winger Nathan Redmond was been called up to Noel Blake's England Under-19 squad for the European Under-19 Championship in Estonia next month.

The 18-year-old has made just one appearance for the Under-19s, coming on as a substitute against Czech Republic back in February, but he played a major part in Blues' npower Championship campaign which ended in a play-off defeat to Blackpool. Redmond, whose performances earned him the accolade of the club's young player of the year, will hope to help England out of a group which includes France, Croatia and Serbia.
