Manchester City have completed the signing of Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn Rovers for a reported £18million fee.
Santa Cruz becomes Mark Hughes' second major summer capture and renews the relationship with the ex-Rovers boss which produced the Paraguayan's most prolific season in the game back in 2007/08 when he netted 19 Premier League goals.
The 27-year-old completed the formalities of his medical earlier today to join Gareth Barry in the Blues' ranks.
