Defender ruled out

Blackburn will be without Gael Givet against Fulham tonight with Lars Jacobsen expected to replace him in defence.

Givet picked up a thigh injury against Bolton on Sunday and Jacobsen, the man who replaced him at the Reebok Stadium, is expected to step into the starting eleven.

Rovers do have other options though with Pascal Chimbonda and Michel Salgado also fit and raring to go should they be called upon.

Boss Sam Allardyce, who again will miss the game while he waits to undergo heart surgery, has no fresh injury worries and is expected to name a very similar side to the one that picked up the 2-0 win at Bolton.
