Desire key for striker - Allardyce

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is urging Paul Gallagher to save him millions by finally fulfilling his potential in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old Scot has been on loan at Stoke, Preston and Plymouth over the last few seasons but will now get the chance to step into the boots of departed duo Roque Santa Cruz and Matt Derbyshire.
Allardyce told the club's website: "It's down to Paul. He had one of the brightest futures of any young player here many years ago under Graeme Souness.
"The talent is not in question, the desire to be a Premier League player is what Paul needs to have. If he can show that then we have a terrific player at Blackburn."
