Blackburn have joined the race to sign Dutch winger Eljero Elia, who could be on the move in January.
The 21-year-old is currently earning rave reviews while playing for Steve McClaren's side FC Twente and a number of scouts were present when they took on Manchester City last week.
The left winger impressed at Eastlands when bagging the opening goal in a 3-2 defeat and Rovers boss Paul Ince is said to be keen on the youngster.
Ince would face strong competition for the player though as Hull, Everton and Manchester City have all been linked with a swoop.
Elia still has two years left to run on his current deal but reports in Holland claim that Twente will not stand in the players way if a Premiership club come knocking.
