Junior Hoilett insists Rovers are prepared to fight for their top-flight status and that his goal against Norwich is probably his best.
The Blackburn forward has been linked with moves to Borussia Moenchengladbach and Marseille at the end of the season, but showed he remains committed to the cause by his performance on Saturday. Hoilett curled a 25-yard strike past Norwich stopper John Ruddy to give his side an unassailable 2-0 advantage and keep them in the hunt to stay up. And, despite authoring several other brilliant individual strikes in his Rovers' career, he believes Saturday's effort was his best yet. He said: "I wanted the ball early from Marcus (Olsson) and I wanted to get the defender on the back foot early and I knew where I was going to put the ball. "I had a feeling it was going to go in the moment I hit it. The keeper got a touch but I don't think he had a chance and it was a great three points. "I think that goal was better. I hit it sweeter than the last one and we got the three points so it was better. It is the best I have scored for Blackburn Rovers."
