Ince makes plea to fans

Blackburn Rovers, 19:10, November 17, 2008

Blackburn boss Paul Ince has called for patience and has told the Rovers fans they will eventually come good.

Rovers dropped into the bottom three of the Premiership following the 2-1 defeat against Sunderland on Saturday and were met by a chorus of boos at the final whistle.

Ince is not concerned with the reaction of the fans though and has told them they will turn the corner once the new methods he is implementing start to pay off.

"Of course they are going to boo, it was disappointing," he told This is Lancashire. "But let's not be under any illusions. We have not spent the most amount of money in this league, probably the second lowest.

"As I said before, we are changing things at this club and it will take time. I have been booed all my life, I have been in the game 20 years and boos don't worry me. But we will go again."
