Blackburn's Swedish international Martin Olsson will reportedly seek a summer exit if the club are relegated.
The Rovers are currently three points adrift of safety with just two remaining league fixtures, against Wigan (h) and Chelsea (a), and they could find themselves six points adrift before their next game if Bolton beat Spurs on Wednesday. Olsson joined Blackburn in 2007 but the Lancashire Telegraph have reported that the 23-year-old will push for a summer move if the club fail to retain their Premier League status. However, Olssson is currently contracted to the Ewood Park side until 2015 and the club will seek a sizeable transfer fee if the player does decide to call time on his Rovers career in the summer. One player who does seem certain to depart in the summer if Junior Hoilett, who is out of contract at the end of the season, regardless of whether or not Blackburn avoid the drop. Blackburn will be in line for compensation if Hoilett leaves as he is under the age of 23, although the Ewood Park side would only receive around £700,000 if Hoilett moves away from the England, compared with an estimated £4million if he decides to join a Premier League side.
