Defender Andre Ooijer could leave Blackburn in January with several Dutch clubs said to be interested in him.
Ooijer's current contract is up at the end of the season and Rovers would prefer to sell him in the new year instead of losing him for free in June.
The 33-year-old, who moved to Ewood Park in 2006 from PSV Eindhoven, is attracting plenty of interest back in his home country with his former club thought to be at the head of the queue to re-sign him.
Boss Paul Ince is keen to keep the defender, who has made five league appearances so far this term, in his first-team squad but a lack of match action over the next few months would tempt Ooijer to ask for a move.
