Pilgrims get to keep Gallagher
Blackburn Rovers, 11:08, December 30, 2008 ,
On-loan Blackburn striker Paul Gallagher will stay with Plymouth until the end of the season, manager Paul Sturrock has confirmed.
Ewood outcast Gallagher has scored seven goals in 21 Championship appearances since moving to Home Park in August and Sturrock had made no secret of his desire to hang onto the 24-year-old.
Gallagher picked up a knee injury against Southampton on Boxing Day and is awaiting a scan, later this week, to determine the extent of the problem.
"I've spoken to Sam [Allardyce] and unless they have injuries or someone comes in with a fantastic offer he's staying with us for the season," Sturrock told his club's official website.
