Rivals check out defender

Newcastle are back on the trail of Blackburn Rovers' left-back Stephen Warnock and could make a renewed bid in January.
Dennis Wise sent Magpies technical director Jeff Vetere and scout Lil Fucillo to Ewood Park last weekend to watch Warnock in action against Sunderland.
The 26-year-old was on a list of defenders drawn up by Kevin Keegan last summer, with United's failure to land the ex-Liverpool product a source of frustration to the former boss.
Rovers will no doubt be keen to keep hold of Warnock and are again likely to resist any approach for the full-back.
