Blackburn manager Steve Kean is satisfied he is getting "that bit extra" from his players as they bid to escape relegation.

Rovers, second from bottom and three points from safety with three games to go, won their first game in six last week with a 2-0 success over Norwich and the statistics are showing Kean's leading players are pulling out the stops. Morten Gamst Pedersen covered more ground against Norwich than any other Barclays Premier League player. Kean said: "Stats like that don't surprise me. A couple of weeks ago David Dunn did his own personal best with amount of ground covered in any game since he's been at the club. "That is what it's going to take, it's going to take everybody to do their own bit and a little bit extra as well. "The lads are putting in a big effort with and without the ball and when you do that you get your just rewards."
