Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is reportedly keeping tabs on 22-year-old Bayern Munich striker Deniz Yilmaz.
Allardyce is desperate to add at least one more striker to his squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign and reports in Germany have linked him with Yilmaz.
The striker has been unable to secure first team football at the Allianz Arena and is now prepared to move on in search of regular action.
"They told me that it is hard for me to get into the first team," said Yilmaz. "My wish is that Bayern do not obstruct my path in trying to play at a higher level."
Allardyce may face a battle to secure the striker's services with Premier League rivals Stoke City and Newcastle United also thought to be weighing up a move for Yilmaz.
