Trezeguet targeted by duo
Blackburn and West Ham are chasing former Juventus striker David Trezeguet in the last few days of the transfer window.
The 33-year-old Frenchman, who scored the Golden Goal that won Euro 2000, is just the sort of proven goalscorer that Steve Kean has been looking for to bolster his options for the run in.
Trezeguet has had injury problems in the last few years but has shown that he has not lost his goalscoring touch this season with nine goals in Spain for struggling Hercules, who were promoted last season.
Reports in France claim West Ham are also in for him, but their capture of former Stoke City target Demba Ba from Hoffenheim today, may change their priorities.
