Blackpool news

The Seasiders’ famously won the FA Cup in 1953 in the match dubbed ‘The Matthews final’, starring the legendary Sir Stanley Matthews.

The England winger, nicknamed the ‘Wizard of the Dribble’, played for the club from 1947-61 and featured in two losing Cup final sides in 1948 and 1951.

Blackpool’s home has been Bloomfield Road for over 100 years.
