Boss wants rumours to end

Blackpool, 14:10, January 21, 2010 ,

Ian Holloway is getting fed up with questions about Charlie Adam's future and the Blackpool boss now wants the speculation to stop.

The 24-year-old has been a revelation at Bloomfield Road after arriving from Rangers last summer, albeit it initially on loan.
Adam struck his 11th goal of the season in the 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday to spark off more rumours about a possible move away from the club.
Birmingham, Wigan and Sunderland have all been linked with the midfielder but Holloway insists he has had no offers for him.
The Seasiders boss told The Gazette, "I'll be glad when the transfer window closes because of the speculation about 'is Charlie staying?' I've had no phone calls so it's an absolute mess.
"The whole thing is an absolute myth and I wish people would stop talking about it.
"And regards my work in the transfer market in getting people in, all I can say is that I've got some really good players here who I'm working with.
"If I can add any to them I will, but I am not replacing any of them."
