Defender deal wrapped up

Blackpool, 14:52, August 7, 2008 ,

Blackpool have completed the signing of defender Rob Edwards from Wolves after the player penned a two-year deal.

Seasiders boss Simon Grayson has been on the look out for a replacement for Kaspars Gorkss, who left to join QPR, and has finally landed his man for an undisclosed fee.
It is thought that Pool have broken their transfer record to land Edwards, who is looking forward to the job in hand.
"I'm delighted and I'm really looking forward to it, it's a new challenge and, hopefully, I'll come and play some football," Edwards revealed.
