Foot soldier Evatt returns

Blackpool are set to welcome back Ian Evatt as boss Ian Holloway enjoys the luxury of a fully-fit squad for the trip to Barnsley.

Evatt has not featured since the Seasiders opening league victory at Millwall but returned from a foot injury in Wednesday afternoon's 3-0 behind-closed-doors friendly win over Wigan and is fit to fight for a place at Oakwell. Fellow defender Kirk Broadfoot will have the first opportunity to make his debut after joining Blackpool earlier this month on the back of his summer release from Rangers. Goalkeeper Matt Gilks and wingers Tom Ince and Matt Phillips all returned unscathed from international duty this week and will all feature as the npower Championship pacesetters aim for a return to winning ways after going down 1-0 at Leicester last time out.
