Holloway eyes SPL swoop

Blackpool, 19:10, June 25, 2009 ,

Ian Holloway says he is optimistic that Blackpool can seal a permanent deal for former loan star Charlie Adam.

The Rangers ace impressed whilst on loan with the Tangerines last season and Holloway is keen to sign the winger, despite not being in charge during Adam's spell at Bloomfield Road.
The Blackpool boss says he has liked what he has seen of his performances on DVD and says it's now down to the Tangerines board to agree a fee with the SPL champions.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Holloway said: "I don't think his wages will be a problem, but it all boils down to whether the chairman can come to a deal with Rangers for him.
"He's very good with the ball at his feet, attacking the opposition defence, so he would be a great addition."
