Holloway rewarded

Ian Holloway has been named as npower Championship manager of the month for August in acknowledgment of Blackpool's fine start to the season.

The Seasiders flew out of the blocks, winning their first three league games and scoring 10 times in the process. Four of those goals came from in-form winger Tom Ince, who follows his recent England Under-21 call-up by collecting the player of the month award. Blackpool take on Barnsley this weekend and remain top of the table despite losing 1-0 to Leicester before the international break.
