No move for DJ
Blackpool, 17:07, June 19, 2009 ,
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway says the Seasiders have been priced out of a move for Leicester striker DJ Campbell.
Campbell was a revelation while on loan at Bloomfield Road last season and Holloway was keen to strike a permanent deal for the striker, who is keen to get away from the Walkers Stadium.
However, Campbell is refusing to lower his wage demands and that has scuppered Blackpool's chances of landing him.
"We have tried to sign DJ Campbell, but Leicester went up last season and that means DJ's wages also went up," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette.
"His agent has made it totally clear that he isn't going to take a drop from the money he is on."
